Fractional CTO for B2B SaaS Startups

Ship your B2B SaaS product in weeks, not months

Most B2B SaaS founders waste 6+ months building features customers don’t need. By the time you realize what actually matters, you’ve burned through your runway.

I help you build the right thing, the right way, fast.

What I do

Define the actual problem Your customers tell you what they want. I help you understand what they actually need. We’ll map the gap between their workflows today and where they need to be.

Design for growth, build for now Multi-tenancy, billing, integrations — I’ve architected these dozens of times. You get a modular system that works today and scales when you need it to, without over-engineering.

Deliver value in sprints Working software in your customers’ hands in 4-6 weeks. Real feedback. Real validation. No 6-month death marches.

Who I work with

Pre-seed and seed-stage B2B SaaS companies who need to prove product-market fit before their next funding round.

You probably have a technical co-founder who’s great at coding but hasn’t built a SaaS product before. Or you’re non-technical and need someone who can translate your vision into working software.

How we work together

Typically 2-3 days per week for 3-6 months. I work as part of your team — defining requirements, designing architecture, and implementing the first version alongside your developers (or as your first technical hire).

Recent work

Helped a workflow automation tool go from spreadsheet to working MVP in 8 weeks. They used it to close 5 pilot customers and raise their seed round.

Rebuilt a reporting platform’s architecture to support multi-tenancy without rewriting the entire codebase. Took 6 weeks, unlocked their enterprise sales motion.

Let’s talk

If you’re trying to validate your B2B SaaS idea quickly, or you’ve got early traction but your technical foundation is holding you back, let’s have a conversation.

About Federico Toscano

I'm a startup technology advisor helping founders build and scale products. I've worked with early-stage startups, specializing in helping non-technical founders navigate the technical complexity of building companies. My background spans full-stack development, product management, and technical leadership at startups and scale-ups. I've been through the entire journey—from first commit to successful launches and I use that experience to help founders avoid the mistakes I've seen (and made) along the way. I'm based in London but work with startups globally. When I'm not advising startups, I'm usually experimenting with new technologies, reading about product strategy, or mentoring early-career developers.
